Evan Levane

As a junior associate in the music department, Evan Levane negotiates and drafts a wide array of entertainment-related agreements for the firm’s clients, namely, recording artists, producers, songwriters, music publishers, and record labels.

Before joining the firm in September 2016, Evan was an Associate Director, Business & Legal Affairs, at Universal Music Group, where, in addition to drafting and negotiating the company’s 360 recording agreements, he advised all label departments on a wide spectrum of business and legal issues.  Before his time at Universal Music Group, Evan was a law clerk at Ritholz Levy Sanders Chidekel & Fields LLP, a boutique NYC law firm, specializing in the music and entertainment industries, where he worked on, among other entertainment-related matters, master-use and synchronization licenses for use of various sound recordings and musical compositions in video games for one of the firm’s high-profile clients.
