Arielle Matza
Arielle practices in all areas of entertainment and media law, with a particular focus on transactions in the television, film, new media, theater, publishing and sports industries. She represents a wide variety of entertainment industry clients, including writers, directors, producers, networks, studios, actors and actresses, athletes, fashion designers, authors, photographers, executives, and other celebrity talent in a broad range of transactional matters, including with respect to the production, development, distribution, publishing and licensing of entertainment content and branded licensing, endorsement and appearance opportunities.
Prior to joining the firm, Arielle was an associate in the corporate department at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where she represented public and private companies, entrepreneurs and financial investors in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and other general corporate matters. During law school, Arielle worked in the Law Department at NBCUniversal and the Business and Legal Affairs group at Sony Music Entertainment. Before attending law school, Arielle was a member of the NBCUniversal East Coast Page Program, where she worked in various business departments, led studio tours, and assisted in audience coordination for Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
