Robert A. Strent
Robert joined the firm in 2001 and practices across a broad spectrum of the entertainment, media and sports industries, including, film, television, licensing, branding and endorsements. His clients include production companies; producers, directors, writers, actors in film and television; journalists and other on-air personalities; new media companies; fashion designers; professional athletes and internationally renowned models; authors, photographers, magazines and brands; media company executives; and musical artists engaged in non-music related areas of the entertainment and media industries. Robert also provides production legal services for film and television productions.
Whether he’s negotiating deal terms and agreements, engaging in creative problem solving or providing strategic or general advice in connection with entertainment and media industry matters, Robert strives to be a true asset and consigliere for his clients.
Robert is also an occasional speaker and panelist. He conceived and moderated the 2010 SXSW Panel Don’t Get Sued! A Guide for Content Creators and participated as a panelist on The Art of the Deal: Pointers, Advice and Hands-on Tools from Master Entertainment Negotiators That Will Enable You to Cut the Best Deal for Your Project for the 2013 Digital Hollywood Content Summit.
